Mr. B. A.  Adebayo, mni, the Registrar was educated at the University of Lagos and University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife where he obtained the B.A (Hons) in English and Masters in Public Administration respectively.  

He started his career in University Administration in 1974 at the University of Lagos. He moved on to the Federal University of Technology, Akure as a Principal Assistant Registrar in 1983 and was appointed Deputy Registrar in 1987.

In September, 1988 he was appointed Director of Academic Planning, a position he held till 31st December, 1989 when he was appointed Registrar of the University. He served two terms as the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Akure from 1st January, 1990 - 31st December, 1999.

On the completion of his tenure as Registrar, he was selected to represent the University System as a course participant at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos, North Central Nigeria. He was retained at the end of his one year study at the National Institute as National Institute Coordinator (Strategic Planning and Special Duties) where he served from January, 2001 to August. 2002.

He was appointed Registrar of the Redeemer's University in August, 2005.

He is a member of some professional bodies such as Nigerian Institute of Management; Institute of Personnnel Management of Nigeria; and the National Institute.

He is happily married with children.
