SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have five (5) credit passes in WAEC (WASC/SSCE), NECO(SSCE) at one sitting, or six (6) credit passes at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to courses of study as follows:

1. COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES
1. Department of English
• B. A. English
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/Level credit passes to include Literature-in-English, English Language and at least a pass in Mathematics.
2. Department of Theatre Arts
• B. A. Theatre Arts
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/Level credit passes to include English Language, Literature-in-English and any other Arts subjects and at least a pass in Mathematics.


3. Department of History and International Relations
• B. A. History and International Relations
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/Level credit passes to include English Language, Government/ History and at least a pass in Mathematics.


2. COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
1. Department of Behavioural Sciences
• B. Sc Sociology
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and three other Arts or Social Science subjects.
• B.Sc Social Work
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and three subjects in Social Sciences or Arts.
• B. Sc Psychology
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects which must include Biology.

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects.

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes in Government or History, English Language, Mathematics and two other subjects.


4. Department of Mass Communication

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English  and two additional subjects in Arts and Social Sciences.


5. Department of Financial Studies

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects.


6. Department of Transport and Tourism Studies

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and any other three (3) relevant subjects.

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and at least two from Physics, Chemistry, Additional/Further Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Geography.
• B. Sc Computer Science
  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and at least two (2) from Chemistry, Biology and Further Mathematics.


3. Department of Physical Sciences
• B. Sc Physics with Electronics
  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L creditpasses in English Language, Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, and Biology/Geography.


4. Department of Chemical Sciences
• B. Sc Chemistry
• B. Sc Industrial Chemistry
• B. Sc Biochemistry
  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Agricultural Science.
