SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have five (5) credit passes in WAEC (WASC/SSCE), NECO(SSCE) at one sitting, or six (6) credit passes at not more than 2 sittings in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to courses of study as follows:

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Literature-in-English and any other Arts subjects including at least a pass in Mathematics.


2. Department of History and Strategic Studies
• B. A. History and Strategic Studies
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Geography, History/Government and at least a pass in Mathematics.


2. COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
1. Department of Behavioural Sciences
• B. Sc Sociology
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and three other Arts or Social Science subjects.


• B. Sc Psychology
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects which must include Biology.


2. Department of Economics and Business Studies
• B. Sc Economics
• B. Sc Business Administration
• B. Sc Marketing
  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects.


3. Department of Political Science and Public Administration

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Government or History and two (2) other subjects.


4. Department of Mass Communication

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Literature-in-English, Mathematics and two additional Arts or Social Science subjects.


5. Department of Financial Studies

  Admission Requirements: Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects.


6. Department of Transport and Tourism Studies

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) relevant subjects.

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.


2. Department of Mathematical Sciences

  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and at least two from Chemistry, Biology and Additional/Further Mathematics.
• B. Sc Statistics
  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and at least two subjects from Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Economics and Geography.
• B. Sc Computer Science
  Admission Requirements:  Five (5) O/L credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and at least two (2) from Chemistry, Biology and Further Mathematics.
