Admission Requirements

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(i)         Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in at least one sitting or Six (6) ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two sittings.

(ii)        Credit passes in the Senior Secondary School (S.S.S.) Certificate, or its equivalent in relevant subject areas in addition to acceptable pass in the Joint Matriculation Examination, are the qualifications for admission into the four (4) year degree programmes of Redeemer’s University.
(iii)       Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language at the Senior School Certificate or equivalent are required for all courses in Redeemer’s University.

HISTORY & INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

(i) Two ‘A’ level passes/NCE (Upper Credit) in History, Government and any other related subject.

(ii) Diploma in International Affairs/Strategic Studies or related discipline.

Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Government/History and at least a pass in Mathematics.

History/Government and any other two subjects from Arts and Social Science.

THEATRE ARTS

i.WASC/SSCE credits in 5 subjects comprising 2 ‘A’ Level passes including French or the Baccalaureates for a candidate coming from a French-speaking country provided he/she satisfies the general requirements for admission to Redeemer’s University.
ii. ii. NCE holders with the requisite pass in French will be considered as candidates for Direct Entry into B.A. French degree programme. They must have obtained at least Merit in French as their teaching subject in the NCE and they must have fulfilled the necessary ‘O’ Level requirements. However, a credit in French at the WASC/SSCE level may be waived if the applicant went through the Pre-NCE French Course.

Five credits at the WASC/SSCE or its equivalent (including English Language) at not more than two sittings. An applicant needs not have passed French at the SSCE/WASC level. However, he/she must have taken and passed the Redeemer’s University’s pre-degree diploma programme or have studied in a French-speaking country.
