TRENT STRENGTHEN TIES WITH RISING NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY

TRENT University expanded its network of international academic partnerships by establishing formal relations with Redeemer’s University of Nigeria.

During the African Roundtable event that took place on May 5 as part of the Sixth Symposium of the International Consortium on Anti-Virals, TRENT University expanded its network of international academic partnerships by establishing formal relations with Redeemer’s University of Nigeria.

In the spirit of global cooperation, a new memorandum of understanding was officially signed by both TRENT president and Vice-Chancellor Bonnie M. Patterson and Professor Oyewale Tomori, Vice-Chancellor of Redeemer's University.

This agreement is designed to enhance relations between the two universities in order to foster academic and cultural interchange in the areas of education and research.  In addition, both institutions commit to working together toward the internationalization of higher education.

Both universities stand to benefit in many ways, with new opportunities to develop joint research projects, joint conferences, faculty and student exchanges, and joint cultural programs.

Based in Redemption City, Nigeria, Redeemer’s University is a private university offering four-year Bachelor Degree programs through three colleges including the College of Humanities, the College of Management Sciences and the College of Natural Sciences.
