PROF. AKERE HONOURED WITH FELLOWSHIP OF THE NIGERIAN ACADEMY OF LETTER (NAL)

The Dean College of Humanities of the Redeemer's University, Prof. Funso Akere was conferred with the Fellowship of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (FNAL) on 14 August 2008 at the University of Lagos Guest House, Akoka, Yaba Lagos.

The investiture was in recognition of his contributions to the development of the education in Nigeria. Three other notable academics were honoured along with Professor Akere. The Redeemer's University staff were at the event to witness the ceremony and share the momentous occasion with Prof Akere.
