THE FEAR OF THE LORD, THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God: Pastor E. A Adeboye worshipped at the Redeemer’s University Chapel of Power. The choir sang wonderfully and the instrumentalists had a special presentation as a form of thanksgiving, to equally mark the use of their new uniform. Earlier, a new set of the Chapel Workers were prayed for by the Chaplain, having completed their training Class. Pastor Adeboye urged the congregation of students and university officials to fear the Lord and walk before God in obedience. He advised that it is good never to hide the wonders of God, but to always testify of the goodness of God in our lives. Pastor E.A Adeboye said that the greeting rhyme of “Joy to the wise, Joy to me and I refuse to be a fool”, was from God Almighty. He said that this 2009 is going to be of extremes; that is, extreme Joy to those who love God and extreme sorrow for the foolish (who say there is no God); and extreme joy for all those who would fear the Lord.
